I lost my father at the age of five, but his presence never left me.
Growing up, fashion became a quiet language between us. I was given pieces of my father's funky, expressive clothing, each one carrying stories of his creativity, his curiosity, and his love for self-expression. Through these garments and the stories told about him, fashion became deeply woven into my upbringing and identity.
My father, Rami Makhzoumi, is my greatest inspiration. He was a hardworking man who lived by a simple but powerful belief: if you truly believe in something, you can achieve anything your mind dares to imagine. He carried a deep passion for creativity and fashion, even investing in a fashion label later in his life. Yet, life never gave him the chance to fully continue that love.
From a young age, I knew fashion was not just an interest it was my calling.
When I launched Maison Nou in the summer of 2025, I felt an immediate and profound connection to the brand, one that continues to grow stronger with time. It became clear to me that while my father could not continue his journey in fashion, I was placed in this world to carry it forward.
Maison Nou is my heart and soul.
It is legacy, memory, passion, and purpose. crafted with intention, emotion, and respect for the past, while creating space for the future.
This brand is more than fashion.
